It boggles my mind that people still use chemical sunscreens. Between the potential hormone disruptors and carcinogens, I just don’t think its worth it. Read this for more info on why a mineral sunblock is essential! But even some of our own clients who are natural skincare enthusiasts have sheepishly admitted to using the chemical stuff. One reason for this is the finish of natural mineral sunblocks. Some higher mineral SPF products can get pretty thick and upon first application, be chalky. This is even more frustrating to anyone with darker pigments in their skin as white residues can appear on the skin from the white minerals.
BUT do not be deterred! There is a solution! You don’t need to walk around looking like a geisha in order to avoid nasty chemicals. Its all in how you use your mineral SPF. So, I made this short video to show you exactly what to do. Such simple steps! I promise you, if you follow these tips, you will never have white streaks ever again. Cheers!
